This explains what personal information YaadBinge collects, why we hold it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it under Jamaica's Data Protection Act, 2020.

YaadBinge is operated by Ignite Group in Jamaica. For the purposes of the Data Protection Act, 2020, Ignite Group is the data controller for the personal information described here. That means we decide what is collected and why, and we are answerable for how it is handled.
Questions, requests and complaints about your personal information: ignitegroup876@gmail.com. Please put "Data request" in the subject line so it reaches the right person quickly.
We try to collect as little as we can, and only what a real day actually needs.
| What | When | Why it is needed |
|---|---|---|
| Name and email address | When you send a booking request or sign up for updates | To reply to you and to identify your party on the day |
| Party size, preferred date, town, chosen plan | When you send a booking request | To build the itinerary and tell operators what to expect |
| Phone or WhatsApp number, if you give it | When you contact us or ask to be reached that way | To reach you on the day, when email is not fast enough |
| Health, mobility, allergy or dietary information | Only if you choose to tell us | To plan a day you can safely take part in, and to warn the relevant operator |
| Messages you send us | When you email or message us | To answer you and keep a record of what was agreed |
| Technical data: IP address, browser, pages viewed | Automatically, when you visit | To keep the site running, secure and reasonably fast |
We do not collect payment information. YaadBinge takes no payment through this website, so we never ask for and never store card numbers or bank details.
Health and similar details are treated as sensitive personal data under the Act. We ask for them only where they affect safety or suitability, we share them only with the operator who needs to act on them, and you are free not to give them, accepting that we then cannot plan around a need we do not know about.
We process personal information because it is necessary to do the thing you asked us to do, namely to answer your enquiry and to arrange and run a day out. We also process it where we have a legitimate interest in running and improving the service, and where we have a legal obligation to keep records.
Where we rely on your consent, for example to send you updates about new locations, you can withdraw that consent at any time. Every update email carries an unsubscribe link, and withdrawing consent does not affect anything done before you withdrew it.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it to make automated decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on you.
We share personal information only where it is needed to run your day or to keep the service working:
Operators, drivers and coordinators do not get your whole record. They see what their part of the day requires:
People holding these accounts are told that guest details are provided only to run that day, and must not be copied, kept afterwards, or used for anything else.
Some of our contact and coordination happens over WhatsApp, because it is where travel arrangements actually get made. If you message us there, WhatsApp and its parent company handle that message under their own privacy terms, not ours. We keep the content of what was agreed, and we ask you not to send health details, identity documents or anything sensitive by message where email would do.
We use Google Analytics to understand how many people visit and which pages they use. It sets cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device, browser and the pages you view. We use it in aggregate, to decide what to build next, and we do not use it to identify you personally.
You can stop this at any time by using your browser's cookie controls, by browsing privately, or by installing Google's opt out browser add on. Blocking these cookies does not stop you using the site.
We also store a small amount of information in your browser so the site works: for example, whether you have dismissed a notice, and, for crew accounts, a sign in token so you are not asked for your password on every screen. These are not used for advertising.
Some of the services we rely on, including analytics and parts of our hosting and email, process information on servers outside Jamaica. Where personal information is transferred outside Jamaica, we take reasonable steps to satisfy ourselves that it will be protected to a standard consistent with the Data Protection Act, 2020, including relying on the provider's own contractual data protection commitments.
The site is served over HTTPS. Access to guest information is restricted to accounts that need it, and each operator, driver and coordinator sees only their own part of a day. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text, and our staff accounts require a password to reach any working view. Administrative access is separated from operator access, so an operator account cannot reach administrative data.
No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise. If you hold an account with us, choosing a strong and unique password, and not sharing it, is a real part of keeping guest information safe.
Under the Data Protection Act, 2020 you have rights over the personal information we hold about you. You can ask us to:
To exercise any of these, email ignitegroup876@gmail.com. We will respond as soon as we can and within the time the Act allows. We may need to confirm who you are before releasing information, which protects you as much as us.
This site is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. Where a booking includes children, we ask the booking adult for the ages, and only so that we do not plan a stop a child cannot join. If you believe a child has given us information directly, contact us and we will delete it.
If you are a venue operator, driver or trip coordinator, we hold your name, email address, contact number, the venues or runs assigned to you, and a hashed password. We hold it to give you access to your working day and to contact you about it. It is kept for as long as your account is active and a short period afterwards, and you have the same rights over it as anyone else, set out above.
If personal information is lost or exposed in a way that is likely to affect you, we will act to contain it, and we will notify the Information Commissioner and affected individuals in line with the requirements of the Data Protection Act, 2020.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal information, please tell us first, so we have the chance to fix it.
You also have the right to complain to Jamaica's data protection regulator, the Office of the Information Commissioner, which oversees the Data Protection Act, 2020 and maintains the public register of data controllers. Their guidance and complaints process are published at oic.gov.jm.
We may update this policy as the service develops. The version in force is the one published here, with its effective date at the top. Where a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you directly.
