About YaadBinge

Jamaica gives you a day. We make sure you get all of it.

Built in Jamaica, by Jamaicans who got tired of watching people, ourselves included, leave the island with a tan and a list of things they never knew were there.

We are Denrick Jack and the team at Ignite Group (helpmeignite.com), a Jamaican digital studio. We love this island the way you love something you actually know. And like most people who work long weeks, our time to enjoy it comes in short windows: a free Saturday, a public holiday, the two good hours after a flight lands.

The itch

Yes, Jamaica is cool runnings and easy vibes. But this island is so much more than relaxing on a beach somewhere. There are river pools the colour of a postcard twenty minutes from the cruise pier, a great house with two centuries of real history, jerk pits that have been smoking since before independence, a dub session on a hillside that starts when the sun goes down.

The problem was never the island. The problem is that stitching a real day together is a job: find the spots, work out an order that makes sense, guess the drive times, ring five different operators, hope nobody is late. Most people, visitors and Jamaicans alike, do the maths and settle for the beach. Then they find out afterwards about the place they would have loved, had they only known.

The day that made it click

We tried several ways to crack this over the years. Then IShowSpeed came to Jamaica and packed more of Kingston into a single day than most visitors manage in a week, live, in front of millions. We spent that day helping around his team on the ground, and watching it run from the inside we finally saw the machinery clearly: somebody holds the clock. Somebody warms up the next stop before the group leaves the last one. The person at the centre of it never plans anything. They just arrive, again and again, and enjoy.

None of that needed a celebrity. It needed sequencing, and somebody whose whole job is the handover.

That is the thing we went away and refined. You can see the day itself on our Speed in Jamaica page.

To be clear: that day belongs to Speed and his team, and nothing here implies he endorses YaadBinge. The lesson is what we took away, and the lesson was free.

What we built

YaadBinge plans and runs whole days out of Experience Blocks: runs of three to five spots that already make sense together, already in the right order, with the driving and the timing worked out. Answer four questions and we match you, or roll the dice and let the planner surprise you. Send us the day and we confirm every stop with the operator before anything is booked, brief your driver, and pass each place exactly what it needs to look after you, told to us once.

Behind it sits the part we care about most: the handover. Every stop on your day knows you are coming before you arrive. That is the difference between an itinerary and a day that actually runs.

Why we bother

We built this so you can enjoy Jamaica without endless planning, and without still missing out on a new spot or something you would have considered, had you known it was there. The island already has the goods. Our job is making sure you meet them.

Where we are

Live today across Montego Bay, Ocho Rios and Kingston, with 60 researched guides to the island's top-rated spots and more of Jamaica on the way. We were shortlisted into the top 15 of the Tourism Enhancement Fund's Tourism Innovation Incubator, and we are building in the open: booking is a request we confirm by hand while more operators come aboard, and the app is on its way.
